Electrode for Creep Resisting Steel Alpha 8018 B2

ALPHA 8018-B2 is hydrogen controlled, Iron powder electrode depositing weld metal which contains1.20 % Cr & 0.50% Mo. The weld metal displays excellent creep resisting property and retains strength up to 5000C.The welds are of radiographic quality and operates in all position and shows good weld ability.

The electrode is suitable for use in Oil refineries, Thermal & Chemical plants & boiler. The materials to be welded are: Creep resisting steels & ASTM- A 387 gr. 2 & 11, A 182 gr. F2, F11, F12 & DIN: 13 Cr Mo 44, 15 Cr Mo 5 etc.
