Electrode For Creep Resisting Steel Alpha 9018 B3

ALPHA 9018-B3 is hydrogen controlled, Iron powder electrode which operates in all conventional positions. The electrode possesses good welding characteristics and yields weld metal which contains 2.25 % Cr & 1% Mo. The weld metal displays excellent creep resisting property and retains strength up to 5500C.The welds are of radiographic quality.

Suitable to weld high tensile steels with 2.25% Cr and 1% Molybdenum, boilers, pressure vessels, pipelines in oil refineries, The electrode is suitable for use in Oil refineries, Thermal & Chemical plants for service up to 5500 C .The materials to be welded are: ASTM- A 387 gr. 21 & 22 ,A 182 gr. F22, A234 gr. WP 22. DIN: 11 Cr Mo 9-10, 10 Cr Mo 9-10 etc
